There are so much angst and selfishness in the world that it’s important to teach kids that there is another way and that we’re all ultimately in this together. Have a great Christmas. It happened to me. Had an amazing well-paid job, some don’t always remain privileged. I worked from 16 to 41. Not always people’s choice to be unwell and unable to work people need to think of that too as we have families to think of.
Unfortunately, money doesn’t always go to the Baby Yoda Hug Peterbilt Shirt children at all. For example, I know someone who received benefits specifically for her kids and she spent it on gambling. So refreshing to read an entry where a person doesn’t stop at the charity is the answer to go on to teach children we need to work to make a world where so much charity isn’t needed. We have forgotten how much easier it is to give than to be the recipient of charity. All of my kids were volunteered to lend a hand in the community in different capacities along with reaching across the borders to extend help. It’s been a part of my life and wanted this for my own children.
