Another reason to ditch those kinds of tests. A clear indication that it was a standardized test or an unimaginative test designed by a rather lazy teacher. Students learn more about the subject and teachers learn what their students understand when tests are replaced by practical demonstrations. That is very true. It was imposed on students and teachers alike by the government. So demeaning, why not make an enclosed area on the front of the desk so students cannot see in front of them. Now my grandniece had a problem with a classmate coping off her tests so she let her and after the classmate handed her papers in she wrote the correct answers on the test before handing it in. My teachers did that too.
